Tallinn, Estonia

Port #3 of our Baltic Cruise

Travel Notes

Transportation / Navigating the City
No need to search for public transportation in this city, its size and close proximity to the ship make walking the primary means for getting around. This equates to more time spent meandering through such a charming destination! It's small enough that a map isn't even necessary.

Attractions
We walked into Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and found ourselves amidst ancient towers, the old city wall, and pale pastel buildings. Tallinn has an artsy, laid back feel. It's a delightful place to hang out and people-watch while sipping a drink at a sidewalk cafe. Once again, we followed the walking tour laid out in the Rick Steve's northern European cruise book. Many people climb the spire of St. Olaf's church to see sweeping views of the city. Not a doable activity with a stroller, so we missed out. If you have time to leave the Old Town, check out Rotterman Quarter, the KGB museum, and Kadriorg Park.
